Los Angeles Angels drafts Dan Tobik

Recent UTM graduate Dan Tobik was recruited to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 39th round of the Major League Baseball Draft on June 8. Tobik was a four-year member of the Skyhawk baseball team and currently leads UTM’s all-time saves record. Tobik is a Ballwin, Mo., native and began his career at UTM in his freshman year. JSU secures bid over UTM in championship

The Jacksonville State Gamecocks defeated the UTM Skyhawks in the 2013 OVC softball championship 2-0, on May 12. Despite their efforts, the Skyhawks were unable to score a single run during the game. UTM takes out No. 3 seed in OVC Championship

The Skyhawks eliminated Eastern Kentucky University from the championship in game 12 of the tournament.
