Women’s hoops benefit from Summitt bequest

The late Pat Head Summitt, head coach emeritus of the Tennessee Lady Vols, has bequeathed $200,000 to the UTM Skyhawk women’s basketball program. Ex-Tennessee coach and UTM alumna Pat Head Summitt passes away

Former Tennessee Lady Volunteer basketball coach and UTM alumna Pat Summitt passed away Tuesday morning at the age of 64. Skyhawks win regular season OVC championship, defeat Eastern Illinois 91-52

The Skyhawk women’s basketball team clinched their third straight Ohio Valley Conference regular season title Wednesday night in a dominating 91-52 win over Eastern Illinois.
