The continued spread of COVID-19 has prompted UTM officials to indefinitely suspend international travel for employees and cancel Maymester international travel courses. Maymester courses that include a domestic travel component and domestic travel for employees are not currently affected. Dr. John Russell Burch Jr., director of the Paul Meek Library from 2017-2019, died Oct. 25, 2019, after a prolonged battle with cancer.
